This second book, Bible 101: Acts moves its focus to the mission and evangelism of the early churches after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. The new age of the Holy Spirit has begun through the first followers and God initiated an amazing salvation plan for all. The devotion and passion of the early churches became the first seed for the international mission and God has worked through devoted Christians even in difficult and challenging moments.
The following questions will be brought up in the six chapters of this book: Who were the first missionaries, and in what context could the early church be formed and even grow? How should we respond to the current challenges of our church? In this book, we will discuss the role of the Holy Spirit, early churches’ challenges, Paul’s three mission trips, and their implications.
