Show Me Your Ways, Lord is a deeply personal journey of an immigrant pastor who seeks to discover God’s calling while studying and planting a multicultural congregation in Washington, D.C. Through his experiences of ministry and self-discovery, the author explores one of life’s most profound questions: How can Christians find their calling from God?
Steven Cho argues that discovering one’s calling is not the result of sudden revelation or mystical experiences but of faithfully attending to the subtle spiritual clues God places throughout everyday life. These clues—divine hints woven into moments of joy, struggle, and ordinary living—are confirmed and deepened through spiritual disciplines such as prayer, reflection, and community discernment.
Blending personal narrative, theological insight, and pastoral wisdom, Cho draws on the works of C. S. Lewis, Walter Brueggemann, and Korean Christian philosopher Ryu Young-Mo to illuminate how believers can live with a greater sense of purpose and direction. Show Me Your Ways, Lord invites readers to slow down, notice, and respond to God’s quiet guidance in their own lives.
Rev. Steven Cho currently serves as lead pastor of Wards Chapel United Methodist Church in Randallstown, Maryland. He is a full connection clergy member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference. His wife, Rev. Dong Eun Lee, also a full connection elder, serves at Mays Chapel United Methodist Church in Maryland.

All 100% of the proceeds from my book, Show Me Your Ways, Lord, will also go directly to support this project.
